Are We Are NBO items free of nickel?
Our brass and chrome-plated brass items do not contain nickel. However, we cannot guarantee all items are entirely nickel-free, as the base metal may contain trace amounts.
What materials are used for your earring posts?
Our earring posts are made from either surgical steel or brass. The brass posts comply with EU standards, meaning they contain little to no nickel traces.
When will my order be shipped?
Orders are processed and shipped from our Nairobi studio. Most items are ready for shipment within 5 business days (Monday-Friday) following purchase, excluding holidays. Processing times may be extended for pre-orders or backorders. Personalized items are made to order and may take 9-15 business days to arrive. Once shipped from Kenya, you will receive a tracking number that will update once the order reaches the destination country.
What shipping options are available?
We offer free standard shipping within the U.S. on orders over $200 and ship to over 100 countries worldwide. For more details, see our Shipping and Returns page.
Having trouble locating your package?
The carrier may have placed your package in a secure area—please check all doors, porches, decks, mailboxes, and garages. For apartment residents, check with your front desk or mailroom. Occasionally, packages may be marked as delivered while still en route. If you don’t locate your package within 2-3 days after the expected delivery date, please contact the shipping carrier.
Do you offer international shipping?
Yes! We currently ship to over 100 countries. For more information, please visit our Shipping and Returns page.
Can I return or exchange an item?
If you aren’t completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return or exchange items that are unworn and in their original packaging within 15 days of receiving them. To start the process, visit our Returns page or email hello@announcementsnbo.com. For exchanges, we can only provide an exchange for the same item.
When will I see my refund?
Due to high order volumes and added safety measures, returns are taking approximately 2-4 weeks to process. Refunds are issued once your return is complete, and you’ll receive an email confirmation when your return is received and another when your refund is processed. It generally takes 5-7 business days for refunds to appear on your original payment method. For questions regarding refunds, email us at hello@announcementsnbo.com.
Which items cannot be returned?
Items on sale, custom orders, personalized items, final sale products, or any products marked as non-returnable in their descriptions are not eligible for returns. Additionally, we cannot accept returns for items bought at pop-up shops or from third-party vendors.
Will I need to sign for my delivery?
For orders valued above $150, a signature may be required at delivery. If you’re unavailable, you can leave instructions with your postal office or delivery carrier.
Do you offer discount codes?
We offer promo codes for new customers or during special promotions. Only one promo code can be applied per order, and sale items are typically excluded. Look for specific terms on our website.
Can I use multiple discount codes on one order?
Only one discount code may be applied to each order. If you encounter any issues with a code, reach out to our Customer Care team at hello@announcementsnbo.com.
What if I forgot to add a promo code?
Once an order has been placed, we aren’t able to apply promotion codes retroactively.
